A postcard from Yinchuan

Earlier this year, in September, I was lucky enough to have my third visit to the City of Yinchuan in China, for the TM Forum Smart City InFocus conference. The three-day event brought together over 800 C-level executives and government officials from all over the world.

My colleague, Annie Turner, and I wrote up a report from the event, summarising every presentation (over 40). Attending the event and creating the report were a great way to get an overview of some of the smart city initiatives going on around the world, especially in China. I hope reading it will be too. Cities spotlighted include Moscow, San Diego, Los Angeles, Groningen, Yinchuan, Barcelona and many more.

The report is free for anyone to download.

Visiting China has also provided a brilliant opportunity to see a part of the world I might not otherwise have been able to, including visiting the Great Wall of China and the Terracotta Army. I hope to return to visit more places in the future!

If you have an event and would like to capture the takeaways, get in touch about how I can help.
